Combinations SA ... GS
Combinations multi-turn actuators SA ... with worm gearboxes GS (250Nm~675,000Nm)
By combining the multi-turn actuators SA with the worm gearboxes GS, they are turned into electric part-turn actuators for higher torque requirements. These combinations supplement the part-turn actuator ranges SG and ASR whose torque ranges are limited to 1,200 Nm or 500 Nm, respectively.

Design features :
▫ Torque range from 250 Nm to 675,000 Nm
▫ Swing angles up to 100°
▫ Operating times for 90 ° from 9 s to 780 s
▫ adjustable end stops
▫ self-retaining
▫ Handwheel for manual operation

Ambient conditions :
▫ High enclosure protection
▫ High quality corrosion protection
▫ Wide ambient temperature ranges

Options:
▫ Swing angles > 100° or multi-turn (without end stops)

Interfaces :
▫ Electrical connection via AUMA plug/ socket connector (optionally terminals)
▫ Cable entries in different versions
▫ Output drive types according to ISO standard

Worm gearboxes GS
Worm gearboxes GS 50.3 - GS 630.3(Up to 675,000 Nm) and GS 315 - GS 500(Up to 360,000Nm)
AUMA worm gearboxes are used for the operation of part-turn valves  (e.g. butterfly valves, ball valves).

▫ Type of duty:
- Short-time duty S2 - 15 min (Open-close duty)
- Intermittent duty S4 - 25 % (Modulating duty only bronze)

▫ They can either be operated in:
- manual operation directly via handwheel
- motor operation (electric multi-turn actuator)

▫ Gearbox is prepared for mounting an actuator flange
▫ Clockwise rotation at the input shaft results in clockwise rotation at the output drive

Design features :
▫ Torques up to 675,000 Nm
▫ Reduction ratios from  39:1 to 3328:1
▫ Swing angles up to 100°
▫ Adjustable end stops (option)
▫ Output drive according to ISO standard

Ambient conditions :
▫ High enclosure protection
▫ High quality corrosion protection
▫ Wide ambient temperature ranges

Options:
▫ Swing angle > 100 ° or multi-turn (without end stops)
▫ Worm wheel made of bronze for modulating applications
▫ Clockwise rotation at the input shaft results in counterclockwise rotation at the output drive
